(A slight tangent here: The window automatically puts red lines under misspelled words, just like Word does. But the word ginormous is not underlined. When did it become a real word? o_O)
Anyway, they had grapes the size of golf balls. O_O
Once we caught up with Haruna, she led us to the nearby post office and helped us to send out our postcards and letters. So for those who sent me their addresses, watch out for them in the mail. I don't know how long it'll take though. Unfortunately, I did not buy enough post cards to send to everyone, so I am sorry to those who won't get any this time around. This will not be my only time to send some, so I will be on the lookout for more.
I learned that while Japanese addresses are written in a different order, everything about sending letters is pretty much the same.
On our way through the train station, we walked by a taiyaki shop inside the station. Taiyaki is that cream-filled fish pastry I showed you in an earlier post. It seems I have gotten a bit addicted to them. We agreed to go after dinner and get it for dessert.
A few hours of reading, napping, and eating dinner later, we were sitting down inside the nearby konbini and enjoying our taiyaki. So ends our not so very eventful day.
